Transformers

Went to Vivo on fri to watch transformer with the gang. Too bad ah lee can't join us at the last min... Well quite disappointed at the movie. Not be cos it's bad or whatsoever, just that i can't seem to find my childhood. For kids who never watch the classic transformers cartoon series on tv, I think they will enjoy the movie. But for the rest of us who grew up watching transformers, this movie is definitely a turn off.

I want to hear the original cartoon's theme song. But dun seem to hear it at all. Transformers without the original theme song is not Transformers at all! Moreover, Bumblebee should be a Volkswagen Beetle. But Michael Bay turned it into a Chevrolet! This is really an unforgiving thing. And the healer of the autobots should be an ambulance, but in the movie, I dun even know what kind of vehicle it is. The fighting scenes are ridiculously messy and confusing. You can't even see clearly the fighting moves.

People of my age or category really just want to find back our long lost childhood memories. The story can be crappier, but I dun care. I just want the original Transformer back, whereby there's not so much violence. Maybe that's why kids of our days are more 乖 when there's not so much violence in the shows they watched.

Will there be a Transformers 2? I think there might be one, starting with the decepticons building a undersea base. Will I watch it? I duno, but hopefully it will adhere more to the original story.
