Finally setup a wireless network at home. Actually, got this 2Wire 2700HG from Singnet about 2 years ago. But didn't want to setup the wireless network. Not even want to use it when my Aztech modem is incompatiable with Windows Vista... So it just sit down there idling (not collecting dust hor cos it's still under wraps)...
What got me to set it up? All be cos of Touchie lor. Wana to be able to surf the Net when bro is using my PC. Easy to setup but it lacks some features that I would like to have (eg. MAC filtering). BTW, Singnet is no longer giving out this device since it's out of production. Read in some forums that Singnet is now giving out the 2701.
Connecting Touchie to 2700 is quite easy too. I key in my network's name (since I disable SSID broadcast and Touchie did detect a nameless network), choose WPA and the password is actually the WPA key!
